Rooted in the revered Zenji-Ryu tradition, the Bohdidarma Shiai invites martial artists to compete in an atmosphere of mindful combat and disciplined technique. This tournament honors the philosophical and technical lineage of Zenji-Ryu while offering a platform for spirited competition. Whether you're stepping onto the tatami for kata, kumite, or both, expect rigor and integrity as all matches will follow World Karate Federation (WKF) rules, ensuring fairness and international standards throughout the event.
To foster growth among young beginners, this event includes a Foundations Division for children under 6 or those new to training. It’s a space where emerging martial artists can gain experience and develop confidence in a guided, supportive setting.
